  • Log Entries: We collect all the text and content you provide in the designated logging fields, including:

    • "What went well" entries.

    • "What didn't go well" entries.

  • Submission Data: We collect information related to the submissions you track, including:

    • Submission Categories: The categories of submissions you select or input (e.g., armbar, choke, leg lock).

    • Specific Submissions: The specific submission techniques you log as successfully hit.

  • Usage Data: We may collect information about how you use the App, such as the features you access, the duration and frequency of your usage, and other app usage statistics.

  • Device Information: We may collect certain information about your device, including the device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.  

  • Aggregated and Anonymized Data: We may aggregate and anonymize user data for analytical purposes. This data does not identify individual users.

2. How We Use Your Information:

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To Provide and Maintain the App: To enable you to log your training sessions, use the journaling and submission tracking features, and access your training history and statistics.  

  • To Personalize Your Experience: To potentially personalize certain aspects of the App based on your usage and inputs.

  • To Improve and Develop the App: To analyze how users interact with the App, identify areas for improvement, and develop new features and functionalities.

  • To Communicate with You: To send you important notices, updates, and information related to your account and the App. We may also respond to your support inquiries.

  • To Generate Statistics: To create and display aggregated statistics based on user-provided data.

  • For Research and Analysis: To conduct research and analysis on BJJ training patterns and trends based on anonymized and aggregated data.

  • To Ensure Security and Prevent Fraud: To monitor and analyze activity on the App to help prevent fraud, abuse, and other security issues.

3. Sharing Your Information:

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • With Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party service providers who assist us in operating, providing, and maintaining the App (e.g., hosting providers, analytics providers). These service providers are obligated to protect your information.

Please note that we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.   • Opt-Out of Communications: You may opt-out of receiving non-essential communications from us by following the instructions in those communications or by adjusting your notification settings within the App.

We will retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

DeepRoll is not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age. If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under the specified age, please contact us immediately, and we will take steps to delete the information.
